Donna Mendes is a contemporary fine artist whose work explores the quiet mystery and visual possibilities of everyday life. Born in Glen Cove, New York, Mendes developed an early connection to art and the natural environments around her, particularly the coast. She earned her BA in Fine Art from the University of Colorado, Boulder, and has continued her studies across the United States and abroad. Now based in Berkeley, California, her work reflects the influence of both East and West Coast landscapes, as well as her extensive training in classical realism.
